We are so excited to announce that this year’s Festival will include a live art performance from artist and filmmaker, Natalie Fletcher.
Fletcher, Director of “Oh, Beautiful” (which will be screening at this years Festival) and recent winner of GSN’s “Skin Wars” will perform in the iconic Freak Alley downtown on Saturday, September 24 from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM with model and local self-acceptance spokeswoman, Amy Pence-Brown. Well-known for her own live art performance of self-love just over a year ago in downtown Boise’s Capitol Street Farmer’s Market, Pence-Brown will participate in another self-love performance with Fletcher leading up to the screening of “Oh, Beautiful” on Sunday, September 25. You can read more about Fletcher here and Pence-Brown at here.
"Oh, Beautiful" is a short documentary about learning to love yourself for who you are... with a little bit of body paint, too. Fletcher's 2015 project Bodies Across America! took 200 days, 140 people, 30,000 miles, 50 states, 101 cities, and had one question: Why do you love your body? Edited by the talented Scott Phillips and the music for the trailer is done by the incredible Joanna Sternberg. You can watch the trailer here.
Huge thank you to Proof Eyewear for sponsoring Natalie's appearance!
